2010 - 2011 School Year

Choosing a preschool for your child is an exciting venture, and we're pleased to be a part of this process.  We strongly encourage parents to look at the many great preschools on Bainbridge Island.  Visiting a variety of programs will give you the information you need to make the best decision for your child.  The following are a part of our application process and are designed to assist you.

Tour of the School and Classroom Observation- (call to schedule)        

On the day you tour the school and observe the classrooms you will have the opportunity to talk with the Director about your child.

Information Meeting: Thursday, February 18, 2010 7:00-8:30pm (adult evening)

Open House: Saturday, February 20, 2010 9-11am (children welcome!)

Submitting an Application

If you choose to submit an application, we will send you a note letting you know we have received your application form.  To be considered for the first round of placements for the following school year your application must be postmarked by March 1st.  Those applying by the March 1 deadline will hear from us by the middle of April regarding acceptance into the program.  Priority for placement of students goes first to our current students and their siblings.  After accommodating their needs, we will accept new children based on several factors including our commitment to having classes balanced with regard to age, gender, and ratio of new to returning students.

Waiting List 

We will place a child on the waiting list if we have been unable to accommodate them into our classes.  Children on the waiting list are considered for placement if and when a space becomes available.  In any case, all parents submitting applications by March 1 will be informed of their child's status by the middle of April.  Children on the waiting list who have not been accommodated for the school year for which they applied will be notified of the enrollment period for the following year.  At this time you must submit a new application if you want your child to be considered for that school year.

Financial Aid: We have a financial aid program. This form must be submitted at the time you submit your application form. You will be informed by the financial aid committee as to their decision prior to the time at which you need to make a commitment to the school.
