Montessori Country School is committed to the Montessori method of education in supporting young children to achieve self-discipline, self-mastery, and a life-long love of learning. We endeavor to honor individuality, nurture enthusiasm, and encourage independence in a carefully prepared environment where children learn with love, compassion, and respect.
Annual Giving Campaign: As with most private schools the tuition charged at Montessori Country School only covers only a portion of the cost of educating a child at our school. To make up the difference in cost, Montessori Country School holds an Annual Giving Campaign. This is an opportunity for each family to give a monetary contribution to the school that is above and beyond their child(ren)’s annual tuition. Our goal is 100 % participation – a contribution from every family. Each family is asked to give a contribution that feels appropriate for them. The Annual Giving Campaign allows us to minimize the increase in tuition each year, by asking each family to give what they can. You will receive more information about this in the enrollment packet that is sent out in June.
Annual “Winter-into-Spring” Auction – March 24, 2012 Kiana Lodge.
Each year the parents of MCS put on an auction to support Montessori Country School. Items are generously donated by parents and merchants. The auction includes a live and silent auction. Wonderful classroom projects are created which always generate a flurry of interest. This event is one that brings together Montessori Country School families and friends for a time of celebration and support for our school. If you are interested in attending, please call the school and we will get you on the list!
